I'm a graduate student in applied anthropology at the University of North Texas, where I also received my BA in anthropology. I originally took up the study of anthropology in the hope that understanding people might make them less annoying. However, this plan has failed miserably. Instead, I now have the ability to discern the scientific basis for my annoyance. While I have learned that the individual person can be intelligent and enlightened, people are idiots.
