Well, not really. As some of you know, I've been moving recently, which is going to be my excuse for neglecting this site. Anyway, we're all moved in and I need to get off my ass (or on it, to be more precise) and post here. So, I promise to have something new by the weekend. It's not like I have a shortage of topics.

I'm a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a graduate of the University of North Texas, where I studied anthropology and history - not philosophy. While I've read some philosophy books, I am not an actual philosopher. This is more about my trying to figure this stuff out than actually espousing any real philosophy.
